Dr. Jonathan S. Shapiro invented the Dynalyzer at Machlett Labs, Stamford CT in 1975. The design today is largely the same, with the exception of changes necessitated by obsolete electronic components. Dr. Shapiro was electronic subsystems Engineering Manager at Machlett Labs for 11 years.

The Greenwich Instrument Company has available for resale the following used Dynalyzer X-ray test equipment, and voltage dividers. which have been reconditioned calibrated. Dynalyzers have a One Year Warranty against defects, renewable for a additional years at no additional charge after a paid 12 month calibration. Warranty does not cover damage from high voltage overload. Dynalyzer High Voltage Units (HVU's) have all been examined and rebuilt internally with new light pipe, divider rod, check nuts and couplings. New Voltage dividers 12 month warranty.
